Car Mechanic Simulator 2021 Review - Refurbished Classic Instead of Brand New Ride
The game about being a car mechanic is back. It's better, it's bigger, it's prettier, but overall it's a small step in the evolution of the series, rather than a significant revolution.

Overall Car Mechanic Simulator 2021 is a solid upgrade to the CMS series. All of the updated items and graphics will be a welcome addition to past players and a perfect place to start for new ones. It certainly isn't a game anyone would want to binge over a weekend, but any car repair fan will enjoy this one for years to come - or until the next instalment in the series, if it continues to evolve and adapt towards more detail-oriented play.

Car Mechanic Simulator 2021 Description
- Mechanics
- Game modes
- Technical aspects
Car Mechanic Simulator 2021 is the next installment of the series launched in 2014, in which we take on the role of a professional car mechanic. The game was developed by the Red Dot Games studio from Rzeszow (developers of previous parts of the series). The publisher is PlayWay company.
Mechanics
The core gameplay rules are the same as in the previous parts - we play the role of a mechanic and our task is to repair damaged cars (more than 70 different machines can be found in the game). This means checking and replacing various, faithfully reproduced parts - we work gradually, taking apart subsequent elements of the vehicle and trying to identify the problem.
If you do well, you'll build a reputation, which will help you attract new customers and orders. You can also buy new or used cars and then repair or upgrade them and sell them, thus earning money for development. As the game progresses, our workshop gradually expands - we gain access to new capabilities and tools, which make subsequent repairs easier (or even possible at all). We also increase skills of our mechanic. If you feel like it, you can also race your car on the track.
It's worth noting that this installment of the Car Mechanic Simulator series features several new mechanics, such as a dirt system connected to the car wash, another type of damage (dents), the ability to park your cars in garages, and an improved parts analysis system.
Game modes
Car Mechanic Simulator 2021 can only be played solo. The core of the gameplay is the single player mode.
Technical aspects
Car Mechanic Simulator 2021 features realistic 3D graphics. The best impression here is made by models of cars and their parts - all details have been reproduced with great care.
